By leveraging the PlantNet API, your photos are cross-referenced against a global database containing over 40,000 verified species. This ensures that South African flora—from Fynbos to Highveld Succulents—is identified with scientific precision.

Organ-Specific Recognition Manual filtering for Leaves, Flowers, or Fruit reduces "false positives" and maximizes CPU efficiency.

Confidence Scoring Generate a mathematical probability score. Targets >80% for near-certain botanical identification.

Instant Taxonomy Retrieves both Common and Scientific names for immediate deep-research into soil and care requirements.
