Evergreen Hideout Agricultural Services is a South African urban-gardening and food-security initiative based in Soshanguve, Pretoria, Gauteng. The website exists to share practical knowledge, discoveries, and hands-on lessons from real gardening in the Highveld.

Kutlwano Mokoena is the founder of Evergreen Hideout Agricultural Services and the creator of this website.
He studied Information Technology Management at Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology and graduated in 2019. His background in technology shapes the way he approaches gardening — using structured problem-solving, careful observation, and clear record-keeping.
His practical experience includes backyard vegetable production, community sales, school gardening projects, and ongoing experiments in Soshanguve. Through these projects he has developed a deep understanding of what works in local soil, climate, and urban conditions.
